Vanilla Bean Malt Bundt Cake - Baked Elements
Vanilla Bean Malt Bundt Cake

Happy National Bundt Day 2012! I look forward to this year all year!

Hope you are making a bundt for your friends and family. I'm sad I couldn't make 30 Days of Bundt again, but I Still Like Big Bundts.

This is the Vanilla Bean Malt Cake from Baked Elements. Love all the Baked books! The recipe makes a 6-cup Bundt. I love the Nordic Ware 6-cup Bundt pan...so cute.

Nestle Original Malted Milk powder is added to this cake. It is topped with a vanilla glaze. You can use vanilla beans or vanilla paste.

Happy bundt day to you!

I was sad that you didn't have 30 days of bundts this year, but I understand life happens. It takes a lot of time, effort and planning to make all those cakes!

Hope all is well with you.

PS.I posted an apple banana bundt yesterday and a coconut rum cake today. They were both winners. No bundt disasters this year. whoohooo!

I'm sad, too, that you weren't able to do another round of the 30 Days of Bundts, but your loyal readers understand. Early happy Thanksgiving wishes to you. I've made your Fuyu Bundt Cake numerous times and I'll likely make it again in the next day or so. Happy Bundt Cake Day!

Looks luscious! Any tips on where to find great cheap vanilla beans? I bought Trader Joe's beans the other day, they were quite cheap, but they were disappointing...even though they were nice and plump, they had hardly any seeds, and the scent just wasn't great.

Oh you! Now I need another cookbook and another bundt pan. I love your suggestions on baking books.

I can see how one gets sucked into Big Bundt Love! I've only got one bundt under my belt (the fuyu bundt) and now I'm itching for another.

I think it's because most cakes are too sweet and too dry; the frosting hurts my teeth from so much sugar. Bundts are the perfect cake for me.

Oh, this is too funny! I just pulled up your blog so I could put a link to your post in mine, and found out that we both made the same recipe! This cake was amazingly good. I'm not a big malt fan, but you don't really taste it in the cake. It just makes it taste better. =) Happy Bundt Day!!!
