Southern Living's Chocolate Chip Bundt Cake - I Like Big Bundts
Chocolate Chip Bundt with Pecans

My blogger friend Mary of Popsicles and Sandy Feet is always looking out for me. In life and in the kitchen. She made this Bundt back in June and included this on her post: "Mary aka Food Librarian, do you hear me, it is a new bundt recipe!" So, I had to make this!

Topped with pecans, this Bundt is like a huge chocolate chip cookie.

A combo of butter, pecans, and sugar are mixed and placed in the base of the Bundt (which will end up on top). The batter, including a whole bag of mini-chocolate chips, is placed on top of the pecans.

This is a rich cake...dude, it's from Southern Living magazine. They don't mess around with butter. Small slices people. Southern Living says there are 12 servings. Are you kidding me? I cut mine into at least 20 pieces. :)

I forget how beautiful bundt cakes are. Stunning and one to share with friends. Liking the flavours in yours too, esp. the pecans.

Hmmm, I think this recipe would also go wonderfully with hazelnuts. My kids will love it. Thanks.

I made this today with Heath chips instead of chocolate chips. My pecan/sugar/butter topping stuck to the bundt pan like glue when I took the cake out, lol. Next time around I'll put in half the batter, add the pecan mix, then add the rest of the batter :D Other than that problem it looked good and tasted magnificent - I couldn't resist and had a small slice, even tho I'm on a diet. Smaller jeans are starting to look less appealing compared to having a HUGE slice of this cake, LOL.
