I inherited a Nordic Ware classic bundt from my husband's grandmother--great pan :-) I agree, if you only have room for one of these pans, that is the one to have. I love the look of the baby bundt pan--will look for it next time I'm at Marshalls or TJ Maxx.conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16511637152208656812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2503994994675408248.post-13591523619032328702013-05-29T13:19:53.406-07:002013-05-29T13:19:53.406-07:00@baby516 #18 - Diane, I like the Heritage Pan best...@baby516 #18 - Diane, I like the Heritage Pan best because I like the curves and find it a "sexier" pan. Pros: Curves, People are impressed with the design. Cons: Yes, the edges can get a little crisp. Don't overfill the Heritage. It is a 10-cup pan, not 12-cup capacity like the traditional bundt. I make my favorite chocolate cinnamon bundt in the Heritage pan all the time. It doesn't bake as long as some pound cake recipes.

The Rose Pan needs lots of Pam with Flour spray (or a lot of butter/flour brushed into the grooves). It's also more feminine so it's good for a tea, but I wouldn't bring it to a 5th grade boy party (yes, stereotypes, but it is a Rose)

I don't know about the WS Gold ones...I would opt for the heavier bundt pan, but usually all the Platinum ones from Nordic Ware are good. Hope this helps! - maryThe Food Librarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09964596880945435097noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2503994994675408248.post-78724412627562975972013-05-22T14:11:23.662-07:002013-05-22T14:11:23.662-07:00Hi Mary,

Since you own both, I'd like your opinion of the Heritage pan and the Rose pan and the pros and cons of each. Since the Heritage pan has so many ridges, does it affect the overall texture and moistness of the cake when compared to the original pan?

Most of the bundt cakes that I make are lighter colored batter and I do own the original pan as well.

I noticed some of your bundt pans are the goldtouch ones from Williams Sonoma and some are from the Platinum collection. Is there a difference between the gold touch ones and the Platinum collection (i.e. worth the extra dollars to buy the gold touch from WS vs the platinum one from Amazon)?

Sorry for all of the questions, but I figure I should consult with the Bundt expert. =) Thanks for your help!

Dianebaby516https://www.blogger.com/profile/13577248173994036527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2503994994675408248.post-40501305008382828952011-10-21T18:37:21.398-07:002011-10-21T18:37:21.398-07:00Great collection, but it looks like you're mis...Great collection, but it looks like you're missing the Cathedral pan! I love the mini-bundt pan for bake sales. A mini-bundt is a dessert for two. You have inspired me to get mine out and use them. I think for Easter, I will purchase a different one for each of my daughters and fill with a recipe and baking incredients as an Easter basket. Also, the same idea would also be an excellent shower gift or any occasion.
JeanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2503994994675408248.post-43186748548220117282010-11-15T08:27:38.317-08:002010-11-15T08:27:38.317-08:00Ooh.. now that is a wonderful collection.. Here is what I do: Spray the heck out of it with Pam with Flour before baking. As soon as I invert the pan (it is usually still warm), I soak it in hot soapy water. Then I use a little soft brush to clean it. It isn't always perfect, but I do my best. I think this is one of the reasons I don't use this pan very much! 12 Bundt pans?! Awesome.
