@MaryMary, what do I know about "cooking"? Is it a Bundt? That I know... :) Sure, I think you can replace the favas with lima or edamame but then you don't get to double shell the favas. I feel like a pioneer woman doing that. :) - west coast mary

I've never tried fava beans, but they sound yummy!
switching the bean here would prob change up the flavor profile? sure you can swap edamame but they're not nearly as naturally "buttery" as favas are so the walnuts might not blend as well. anyway, just my 2 cents. i think this is a great recipe that would pair easily with some brown rice.
Looks delicious! My two favorite veggies..corn & fava beans! I like to eat the fava beans plain too. I just boil them and then eat it with salt just like edamame :o)
Hmmm - looks like the perfect summer dish. Mayhave to look for fava beans at the farmers market this weekend now.
